Strapazin No.103: Accomplices
With Accomplices Milva and I chose a methodic focus for the Strapazin-issue No.103: the drawn and narrative work in collective. The only condition for the teams we invited was, to detach from the conventional division scenario/drawing and explore new ways of collaboration. The cover illustrates the concept of the issue trough an accumulation of accomplices and the names of the artists. To give an insight into the artists methods, we decided to sepparate the contributions by a portrait about each collective. This text initiates the contribution with prelims, biographies and atelier photos. Further we printed a series of postcards showing famous accomplices caring our Strapazin-issue for the promotion of the release party. These pictures were also used in combination with a quote for a limited edition letterpress poster series.
