Breaking News II
In the project Pas de deux — organised by the comicfestivals Fumetto, Lucerne and Boomfest, St. Petersburg and the magazine Strapazin — Russian and Swiss artists were invited to to exchange views and present their work in a juxtaposition in an exhibition and a publication. Milva and I developped our collaborative work around the topic of Russia and its mediatization.

After realizing a projection as a metaphor of the screen for the exhibition in Lucerne, we reinterpreted our work in a newspaper for the exhibition in St. Petersburg. The newspaper – as printed mass media – was presented as art work and sculpture on a pallet. By reading on the stack and taking the newspaper with them for free, the visitors became performers and part of the art work.
